Got to play one of these yesterday and didn't realize they had on board reverb with a switchable style. With it set to Plate and the gain below 12 O'clock it was the first Black Sabbath album all over. Almost bought it just for that sound. Unfortunately most of the other settings revealed its SS heart. For a SS amp it sounds good but played a TH30 right after and the difference was big, in tube's favor, on the overall tone.

GC also had a used blacked out 2 channel dual rec that unfortunately as sexy as it looked, sounded like they always do..
The TH30 was much better.

Had a chance at another store to try some Divided By 13. Pretty nice. Tried an EDT 13/29 and a LDW 17/39. The EDT was a big sounding amp with a lot of push. More clean but could drive when turned up. The LDW was definitely the Marshall variant. Amazing flexibility in the EQ on that amp. Mid control is it's secret weapon. Very nice take on a goosed 70's Marshall. Only thing that kept it from being a slam dunk was the low end response on palm mutes wasn't quite there. As you got the bass control low enough to tighten it up you lost the overall bigness on everything else from it being higher. Very Borderline though. If you're not doing a lot of palm muted playing in the lower registers it rocked hard.
