OT: CAN, USA, SVK and FIN continue in Olympics ice hockey

Crosby leads in points head to head and the Pens have won 11 out of 17 games against the Caps. Crosby and the Pens also won their only playoff matchup. And most importantly, Crosby has 2 Stanley Cup Finals appearances with 1 cup while Ovechkin has yet to even make it there. Crosby will also probably add an Olympic Gold Medal and beat Ovechkin while doing it. Youngest NHL captain in NHL history and also improves the play of everyone around him, rather than just taking 12 shots a game and taking cheap shots on people like overrated Ovy. Sorry, Crosby wins easily.

If it were reversed and Ovechkin was on team Canada and Crosby was on team Russia, I'm sure Ovechkin would be moving on. Crosby's on the better team.

Crosby is great no doubt, I like him and rooted for the Pens last year in the finals. But Crosby didn't 'win it' for Canada by any means in the Olympics so far....up here we've actually been saying that he should be playing better.

Well, Russia had Malkin and Gonchar and USA has Brooks Orpik, but Sid The Kid is just too badass not to cheer for. I love it when he beats Ovechkin in anything so him having a Stanley Cup and Olympic Gold with Ovy having nothing at all would be amazing.

There are two defensemen in front of the goalie. They help the problem......those that play the position know this.
Luongo made a beautiful save at the end to save the game. Give him some credit. His time is due.

Crosby again proves he's the best player in the world. Dude steps it up in the clutch and makes everyone around him better. I haven't noticed Jakem mention anything about overrated Ovy ever since I posted those stats and then Crosby proves my point even more by scoring the game winning overtime goal for Olympic gold. Doesn't get any better than that, unless you could argue the Stanley Cup is a bigger achievement...but wait...he has one of those too.
