Holy shit what a loser! :) If he wants to do something practical by pushing a few plastic buttons in front of a video screen, maybe he should learn to type better or something. I mean when people play flight sims and get defensive about their "skills" it's one thing because some of those games can be relatively close to the real thing (in a number of ways)...but even so it's laughable because it's still a video game. Guitar Hero if anything teaches you some basic timing skills...about as much as tapping your foot to a song, I guess.

No...when I play right on time, the game usually says I'm wrong...you have to visually watch the lit up circles and NOT play in time...it's absolute crap! :lol: :LOL:
 
Man work is so slow right now, I wish I could watch the episode at work, but my work blocks a lot of content :(

ill admit ive played guitar hero a bit...like 2 times. i know so many people who can play all that crap...id rather just pull my halfstack in the room and blast out the songs for real. trying to play Cowboys from Hell and the button presses not be on time REALLY sucks.

but people defending their skills on GH is like people defending their skills on Halo. i know many a time when me and Jonny Toetags and a couple other guys would get owned and some idiot going "i wasnt even paying attention..." well...some of us just play for fun and have lives other than Halo. damn game fags...

however...im pretty L33T on Forza Motorsport 2. anyone says anything about my skeels is gonna go outside with me and get a little :gethim:

If I had the money to blow on a PS2 or a Wii or something, I would buy guitar Hero.

i have nothing against guitar hero really...it can be fun. i just get pissed off at it because i can actually play guitar, and GH is so different :doh: i actually like the Explorer controller...i thought about getting it because of that. then i realized there are a lot of other games id rather get (like CoD4) and decided against it LOL

Being able to play guitar for real doesn't automatically mean you'll be good at the controller mechanics of guitar hero IMO....

In fact I think drummers if anyone have a natural advantage at that game :)
