Wow that's really horrible, things like that really make you think. He had a family (maybe a wife and kid?) that he was providing for and that bastard took him away. His family will be in my prayers tonight, he a friend of yours?

no kids and not married.(that I know of) Two thugs ambushed him at count time. I did'nt know him personally.

they should be fucking brutally killed

sorry to hear man

mojo sent to his loved ones

I'm a big supporter of the local police and a criminal justice major. I know policing is something I want to do with my life but it makes me feel scared of what could happen as in how my loved ones will have to deal with it. I'd really like to think things like that don't happen in NJ, but then again theres Newark and Camden :aww: I can't believe how shitty people can really be

I just read this. Damn!!!! This really pisses me off. Was it gang related disrespect thing? Did he recently jam somebody up? Or was he just the guy that showed up at the wrong time. Seems like a planned event. They knew he, or atleast some CO was coming around then. Hope they get the death penelty. And not only am I a CO, I'm also a Navy vet.

You have to realize that there are people in this world that will kill you as easily as you might step on an ant on the side walk. Some peoples minds work like that. They're the only thing that matters. Everyone else is insignificant. Most reading this probably think that people like that only exist in the movies. Sadly we live in a very sick world. Just about anything can happen to anyone of us.

dude I am so sorry to here about this. As some of the guys on this board know, my best friend died on duty a little more than a year ago. It is crushing when a cop or a soldier is killed these, it feels so senseless. My thoughts go out to his friends and family, but I know it won't do much because there is something that never goes away even when you have "moved on".

You have to wonder why he was targeted though.

Or it could've been that he was just the CO that happened to be at their cell at that particular time.

I hope they put the shitheads in the ground. I think all violent offenders that are lifers should be executed.
Whats the point. They should have no rights. It pisses me off when I see lock down on tv and you hear these guys complaining that they are not treated right. :gethim:

I am sorry to hear about your brother officer, I am former Navy as well.

No way for a hard working man to go.

Why would anyone do that? He was on duty, and no matter what they did to him, they`d still be in jail... I just don`t get it. What kind of humans are those inmates? Killing for pleasure? Sad story, JBT, I hope they get what`s coming to them.

Exactly. I witness this behavior in other animals as well. It's the laws of nature at work...or God if you wish. Yin and Yang. The balance needed for life on Earth. These people in prison, they have nothing to lose and they are there for a reason. Their minds work differently than the average person.

Very dangerous job ..... the men and women of law enforcement walk the line every day dealing with these types of people.
They deserve more credit than they receive these days.

My deepest sympathy for his family, friends, and CO brothers in uniform. My wife is a former Deputy Sheriff, and my Dad is a retired DO from Maricopa County. I hope the wheels of justice grind these two into a highly public example of punishment fitting to the crime.

That's what I was eluding to. What did he do, or what did they think he did, to kill him? Were they trying to escape? Did they have contrband that they didn't want found? Was it personal? Was it a gang initiation?

I dont know yet. At first they said it was two hispanic inmates and then come to find out it was two american indians. The only gang the indians have to my knowledge is the warrior society, so I have no idea. The last murder they had at usp Atwater was indian on indian. When the results of the investigation come out, it will probably be something stupid like they felt they were disrespected and needed to send a message.

I love how inmates talk about respect. Where the hell was the respect when they commited their crime??? Where was common decency then?
