Unless you are the government looking for another source of revenue. Here in GA the testing stations have inspections and pay fees, etc., to operate. I'd like to know what the government's cut for each inspection is?

I heard a rumor that there is consideration for a tax based on the carbon footprint of your home (not sure if this is true, and if it is federal or whatever?). It seems the only real innovation provided by government bureaucracy is finding new ways to tax or fee us on nearly everything.
