Nothing really... It's a great sounding amp
It's that for the most part my other amps (Boosted triple recto, ENGL SE EL34, JVM, Moded 6505+) cover the brutal uber territory I want for the most part, so it was a bit redundant to keep it I decided...
I now want to build a 6 space rack set up with 2 differnt preamps each running mono into a stereo power amp to simulate my 2 head live setup instead to make things more compact...
I'm going to get another Engl 570 SE preamp and Mesa Recto preamp and VHT 2:90:2 and put it all in a six space rack and split my signal into each preamp like I do wih my heads live with my Tone Bone switch bone... do this using with 2 diff 4x12's, I will get the "two differnt amp effect" I like live in a one guitarist band...
I will boost the recto preamp with a Maxon OD-9 like I do with my triple recto and the Engl 570 SE preamp is teh BRRROOOTALZZZz...
I think the rack rig will is going too kick serious ass and be really easy to set up at shows versus hauling around 2 heads in road in heavy cases ,etc... I will still use my heads from time to time, but having a rack version things as an option appeals to me for certian shows where stage space, cargo space and set time are concerns for us... not to mention it has been almost a year since I got rid of my last rack so its time...!
