TGP. I don't post there, but joined to sell some gear. Had a McNaught listed over here for 3 weeks and nothing. Posted it over there and sold it in 3 days. So, there's money to be had on TGP and obviously, they have their share of boneheads, but there are some that cater to different, more expensive gear.

Steve
Good to hear you sold it, thougt about moving my PRS over ther as well along with some other stuff,,I believe all forums have some boneheads!! :LOL:at times, myself included!

I used to post there a lot but bowed out when it became apparent that a majority of the most active members were all the same person. I actually like the guy and have been to his place on several occassions to check out his collection but that forum essentially amounts to fraud IMO and I don't want too be a willing particiant in its ongoing viability. It amazes me how people know that yet still go there

You must live alone and be very lonely. :aww:
Your logic seems off. A guy who has time to contribute to 5+ forums is more likely to be the one who lives alone, than the guy who only has time for one forum.

I'm not assuming you live alone however. But your statement made no sense at all.

Hey glass, get your panties out your arse...you got no 'sense' of horsin' around. :)

And BTW Einstein, I only mentioned the other forums besides RT to get the ball rollin' :aww:

My RT brotheren come to my defence in my absence! I've been pretty busy this week.

I've tried to go to HCAF and TGP, but when I'm smarter than half the people that post there, I'm not really gaining much. This is the first forum I've ever been on where people actually know more about gear than me. That's why I only come back to this one. Nobody here is showing off their Schecters and debating between tube or SS. I can get an informed opinion about things from here, and so I respert most of the people who are on here.

Most of them...

Spend most of my time here.

You can also find me over at the Boogie board if im not here.
I post a little over at TGP. I like talkin pedals over there.
I used to post regularly at the BYOC forum but something changed and I cant login anymore. oh well.

Thats it for gear forums. I post on some firearm forums too but not as much as I do here

JCF
USA Charvels
TGP

I spend more time on FB and hockey forums as I do music related...

Definitely spend the vast majority of my internet time here.

I lurk at TGP and HC (both mostly for FX).

FTVGIRLS.com gets my vote and then a way distant second is rig-talk.com

WIN!! ;) :D

For me, apart from Rig-Talk, it's just HugeRacksInc. and TGP. I have an account at the Boogie Board but have not visited it for at least a couple of years. I occasionally browse GearSlutz, FreeStompboxes, and DIYStompboxes.

Well, if you have no problem with Trace then you couldn't have any problems with the members since most of the active ones are him posting under different aliases :D I guess I incorrectly remembered you as someone who took issue with that.

There definitely are some good people there but the entire thing is a fraud IMO and participation there simply allows it to continue. Hell, I even like Trace but I find his way of doing things extremely distasteful so I've chosen to stay away.

Trace kicked me off his forum because I didnt post anything the the first time I logged in. He said "his forum wasnt for me" and that "he didnt think it would work out."

Whatever, dude.

Boogie Board - Probably my #1 place. I still visit every day or so when I'm not too busy.
TGP - Was more active when I was more interested in pedals. These days I pretty much just check the amp forum for something to do.
Seymour Duncan Forum - Cool place, but I feel disconnected musically from the majority of the forum.
Stoner Rock - I really liked this place, but it went down hill as stoner rock started to become a little more mainstream. They turned the forum off last year.
HC - Fun for a laugh. Haven't been on in awhile.

There's a few others that I check out from time to time when I'm bored.

I am on the look out for a good metal forum. Rig-Talk is cool but I don't think I'm into the same kinds of music as the majority of the users here.
