I once waited all day for UPS to deliver a 80+ lb. cab to my front door unattended near 6 pm. I could've gone to work and back in that time... No one in their right mind (and back) would've taken it anyway given its weight. Another time I had an item shipped UPS *to* a UPS store, yet somehow there was a paperwork error where someone checked off "delivered" prematurely, so my item was always in "out for delivery" status. I had to call the store to confirm they got it. But don't let my stories scare you while you anxiously wait.
