So technically I got the Suhr in July and the Tom Anderson a few weeks ago but have not posted any NGD threads in a while.
The Tom Anderson I first saw on Indoor Storms website about 5 years ago and always liked the trans blue maple combo. I saw it on Reverb knowing it was the same one after confirming with Tom Anderson himself and worked out a deal with the seller.
I was/am selling my other blue TA Drop Top to help pay for house closing costs but now that money will go towards the new blue one.
The Suhr most of you will probably recognize from here or MANY great YouTube videos by Mark Day. This was the first Suhr Modern I ever saw years ago online and always loved his. I did have a fireburst before but it had the thin narrow neck that I didn't care for and sold. I had been after the member on here who I knew owned the guitar to sell it for years and he was kind enough to let me know back in June he was going to be selling it so I certainly wasn't going to let that opportunity go.
They both sound awesome and of course are my current favorites. I did swap out the HN3+ for an H3 in the TA. The Suhr has Doug Aldruch pickups. I'm being lazy and using previous owners pics for both.
