Ozzy /Randy final 8

That’s the eight for me too. I’d like to have Steal Away in there but I can’t remove any of those. It’s really short and ties in with Revelation…I’d try to squeeze it in somehow.

Diary is my all time fav Ozz song, maybe by anyone. Haunting, and perfect. Bob Daisley deserves a ton of credit for the writing/arranging on it, and every other Ozz tune from those years.

Side one -
Over the Mountain (this may be my favorite RR/Oz song)
Crazy Train (pure classic)
I Don't Know (amazing introduction to the world for RR, amazing breakdown section)
Goodbye to Romance (really underrated and one of Randy's favorites, plus the rideout of the song I could listen to all day)

Side two -
Mr. Crowley (legend)
Flying High Again (fuck you George Lynch)
Little Dolls (a personal fave, love the breakdown section)
SATO (tough one between this an Diary but from the breakdown section through the solo to the rideout at the end is perfection to me)

So hard to leave off epic masterpieces like Revelation and Diary. And then what about Believer or Tonight...like I said, hard.

I rarely participate in poll type questions like this. Ranking them is too hard. I will say I don’t care much for Crazy Train. Probably heard it too much. And other than the bass, Tonight is kinda blah. No Bone Movies ain’t that great.

Here’s 10. No particular order really except Diary. Hard to beat that with any song by anybody.

Now that that's out of the way, let me explain...

Sorry Tech, I just can't abide by such strict rules considering that Diary is the superior album. The best I can do is a 2/6 split, substituting my two BOOZ favorites and taking off the two weakest DOAMM tracks.

4) Believer
5) I don't know
6) Mr. Crowley (I almost put Crazy Train instead. Sure it's overplayed to death but it's such a great song)

8) Diary of a Madman
