First time poster, let's keep it short!
I just swapped the stock humbuckers out of my ASAT for a pair of Seymour Duncan Phat Cats - did this because I recently played my dad's Line6 Variax gold top with P90s and it sounded killer. I noticed his bridge pickup was angled up and away from the bridge, and wondered if that helped sound a bit crunchier and take away just the little bit of unfavorable high end. I guess my question is, since I've never owned a guitar with P90s, what's a good way to start for setting them up? I play moderately high distortion
Happy to answer any of your questions! Thanks!
