I pulled these pics from the Metro amps thread (figured it would be better to ask this here rather than high jack that thread). Supposedly these are gut shots of a Cameron Mod'd JMP. Why in the hell would he render the amp unrepairable by applying all that black shit to hide his work? And the spray paint? WTF??? Let me say I dig the Cameron clips but this is bull shit. Do Fortin and Friedman do this? I wouldnt think so. Honestly just looking at this from a novice perspective....,even with the goop the wiring looks sloppy. Is MC that paranoid folks will affect his income by cloning his Mods?

the threads for reference with a few more pics as well. I dont know anything about repairing amps but I would guess with all the paint and goop it would mean that once that mod is there thats about the last time that amp will get modded without prohibitive costs involved

That's a Cameron for sure. I've had numorous ones like that, but that's a first for the spray paint for me. He'll usually either scratch off the values on the components or put paint just on the component to cover their value. But I've never seen one with paint all over it like that.
