Yeah there are a few PG vids of that clinic. PG is playing and sounding great through the Marshall Vintage Modern. I actually don't like his tone on the Mr Big Live cd but it sounds great on these vids.

this is why Paul is my favorite guitarist.

Not only does he shred , he likes/plays normal music too!

I really enjoy Paul's playing (post Mr Big), but the way he explains things is really what does it for me. If I could take lessons from anyone, it would be Paul.

Yeah he has a good way of puting things so that you grasp what he's telling you. PG ROCKS!!!

+1

Man, I actually think I could get to be a better player when I listen to him talk. He'd be great to take lessons from. Very inspiring. I watched just about all of these videos and they are all great. I love his take on "Snortin' Whiskey" - just rippin'...

Not sure if this has been posted yet but there are several videos of him doing covers and covering technique/writing. Fun stuff.

Interesting, he uses a pedal eq to REMOVE gain from the signal! Friggin' brilliant!!

yeah, kinda like turning down you guitar volume knob, except you can tweak the tone more, and you just gotta step on it - very cool!

Nice post. I was on YT for over a half hour. I agree with his explanations being understandable. I would love a lesson with him.
