Whenever I scour the classifieds locally on kijiji I am always amazed at some of the prices people are asking for.. a 2x12 2204 combo from the 80's going for 1500$ for example. Everyone knows the combos go for less than the heads. Or a TSL and 4 x 12 for 2500$. Some dude was even selling his 5150 for a steal at 500$ with "minor issues". So I sent him an email to find out what the issue was and he says "the amp doesn't get any volume, probably an easy fix even though the amp was just serviced.." lol..i'd say that is a pretty mjor issue don't you think?? People are out to lunch.

I don't know -- a 2204 2x12 combo would be a little more than a head because you're getting two speakers with it. But, yeah, that 5150 guy is out of his mind.

Maybe ..but if you look at ebay prices out there or what the market dictates, I picked my 1 x 12 combo vertical inputs up for 900$ a few years back. I see the 4140 go for 750-950$ fairly consistently. I can see the second speaker but not for the additional price of a 5150 that has volume issues!
