I used to be a fan, even sent contributions at one time. Nova, ACL and the like were enjoyable tv fare. I’m just not sure if there was an exact point in time when the liberal agenda took center stage, like overnight, or has it crept up over the years until it was obvious as it is today? OR has it always been dem/liberal as it is now and I just didn’t pick up on it?
“Democracy Now!”, a supposed news program is something I still check out from time to time just to see how radical the view is now, plus it can be a real hoot.
 
PBS had some good programs back in the day. Nova, Wild America. A lot of them really. Sadly they’ve been taken over by left wing activists. Like planned parenthood they should be immediately stripped of taxpayer funding.

Planned Parenthood; a minister I knew called them Planned Fornication.
And back to my OP, did PBS have a liberal tilt from the beginning (1970s) or did it “develop” as the years rolled by? And what/who was behind that development?
It seems if it’s government funded (mostly), both parties should have equal input on the PBS view of the world?

I think like everything else, it was the fuckin hippies. They started this whole shit show. They raised entitled, stupid children who are now trying to foist their bullshit on everyone else.

So yeah, the 70s and gradually getting worse and worse.

See that’s the thing. Dan has to constantly talk about how he isn’t actually a little bitch because his self esteem leads him to fixate on the fact that he is a coward.

I agree. I just think in the over all list of things to “protest”, public radio is personally low on my list. I would even know where to find it on the dial if I wanted to, so I don’t feel like it is forming my political opinion (or anyone else’s that don’t have their minds already made up)
