Because it's made in New Zealand. It takes a while to get here, I can wait 4 weeks, that's why. Glad you asked.

It's a legit guitar. It's not a guitar to replace anything and it will never be a #1 but it does play nicely like any other guitar.

I bought it for the uniqueness of it and 99% of the time I will use it to perform with, not so I could have another Knaggs level guitar. Tone wood conversations? O.K. here's,....

I played it through a couple of different amps but not at band level loud yet. It's fairly loud acoustically. I also put different strings on, .008 - .050, and adjusted the truss rod.
