I have a 5150 and it gets tons of low end. I like running a lot of low end also. Perhaps you are looking to reshape the low end not add more low end?

No I'm looking to add a little more low end. Running a lps in the inverter helped out a lot so far.

so you say you don't play in a band right?

Just for fun . Don't have the time any more with running my own business . Why do you ask?

Was hoping some one would know how to do this right off the bat . Was looking for a do this with this and that kind of thing. O well

Plug in your bass guitar.

Why not just throw an EQ in the loop? You'll have more control over specific frequencies that way too.

I here you man but just want to mod the amp. Only into it 100 bucks and will be a good learning experience . Guess I need to post on the peavey forum or contact some one who can help point me in the right direction instead of saying plug in your bass guitar

Yea that's what's it's looking like . Emailed Fja but never got a reply . Figured that . Got a local amp tech that is a great guy that can prob point me in the right direction . Thanks anyway guys but this threat is not helping at all.

No I'm looking to add a little more low end. Running a lps in the inverter helped out a lot so far. Some people never owned other amps besides the 5150 and hold it on a mantle as the best amp in the wold . I have owned amps with a ton more gain and low end so just trying to make it more to my liking that's all. Only paid 100 bucks for it any how. This is like my fifth 5150 lol

You will find people here have owned just about every amp known to man and you talk like other amps having even more gain than a 5150 is a good thing  I can assure you an amp with more gain than a 5150 would just sound like shit anyway   The most brutally heavy metal can be played on a 5150 with the gain only at 12 oclock!

But really maybe try to find a really good cheap boost that does not cut your lows like the one you made. That would likely solve your problem!

Tune your guitar to "DROP G"......nobody tunes to E anymore. It's the brootz.

To be honest I have owned like every amp known to man lol. The 5150 is the least of my favorite . My custom boost has a bass boost mod. That's not the problem trust me. Guys if you don't have any no how to do these mods keep your comments to your selfs and kick rocks . Tired of the stupid comments and insults . Just shows who the clowns are.
