anyone else notice that when you click on the "crunch" on the green channel you lose volume? I expected a volume boost like on the big brother version.
I just picked up a used one and it sounds great but I I'm seeing a bit of a volume loss when clicking on "Crunch"

** edit never mind this is how this thing works , common issue raised on the peavey forums.

I honestly don’t use the crunch channel. The lead channel cleans/crunches up great with your volume knob and if I need super-clean cleans I use the clean channel. It’s why I grabbed a 1W capable all tube practice amp - to make sure I can volume knob roll in song practicing that the big boys have to have. Honestly I didn’t even know this crunch thing was an issue /shrug

got a chance to use this at rehearsal last night. Not bad, I wish the lead channel was a bit less gainy, I may have to try 5751's but overall
pretty good, used it through an Avatar 1X12 with a UK made V30 . good enough for practice in the small space we were in last night. :)
I didn't use crunch either I just hit the green channel with a tube screamer and it was plenty good.
