Is this one going to be made in China too? I thought it was going to be made in the USA?

No, Invective will be made in the US.

That's cool.

I am curious to try to send about. When I traded at Nam it was pretty damn good. A cab is actually really awesome too.

I have no interest in giving them my money after that episode bee hives and all the lying.

I don't think most thumbed their noses at USA Peavey before that show and IMO most don't really care about that show. I've personally never seen it and don't plan to. Who cares. Most CEO's are assholes.

The USA Bandits, 5150's, JSX's, Classics, etc... where HUGE sellers.

The Peavey USA Bandits were the biggest/best selling amps in the USA in the early 2000's for several years and the 5150's, JSX's and Classics sold mega numbers.

Their move to more China production had nothing to do with not selling amps IMO. Greed maybe?

All those best amps were James Brown designs, once he left, I lost interest in their amps. The Classic series, JSX, XXX, VTM, Ultra, 5150, etc were all associated with JB. Watching that episode made me lose respect for them as an American company. I get having to outsource to compete but they typical corporate lying to your loyal employees BS is what pisses me off.

Anybody got a link to the Undercover Boss episode with Peavey? I can't seem to find it.

I played the 5150 for many years back in the day, as well with the 5150II, XXX and the JSX. I loved what James and Hartley were doing with the rebrand during that era. The Vandenberg guitars were incredible and were some of the EVH's and other guitars. Those were great amps and guitars over maybe a 15 year period - they were making headway in terms of respectability for years. Let's face it, EVH pushing your gear, didn't get any better than that but it was like Hartley hit a point and wanted to take a step back. Back to the old logo, back to average. back to boring, rehashed products, back to budget brand Peavey. I just think that's where Hartley was/is comfortable. Maybe this new amp is another attempt, best of luck to them.

Can't wait for this amp to be available, I am buying one the instant it crawls on the market.

Price point is pretty awesome for what you get IMO.

I'll be waiting for your verdict for sure.

The amp seems like it's going to be amazing but I'll say the name makes it sound like a new type of oven.

Yup, you will know for sure man, i absolutely love my 5150 II and 5150, so a tweaked version of that is a sure shot for me.

Nice MIDI pedal with it too, a very versatile METAL package we are getting here, damn.
