Looks like Peavey robbed some features from the Driftwood Purple Nightmare with the built in OD and 9v power supply. I wonder if it sounds as good as a Driftwood?

I thought the same thing... "a built in OD808 boost"... 2 volt pedal power outs... hmmm...

God damn, i want one.

I am supposed to sell stuff damn it.

Last amp purchase, i promise.

Seriously, features are just amazing, well thought out.

Very 2017.

Sounded pretty good to me but the name is terrible! Even today i read it as INEFFECTIVE.

I also don't know who this MAnsor fella is but he seems like a cool dude and can play the Djents pretty good.

yeah, if that was not sarcasm

He is a pretty good guitarist. I like his videos because he does a lot of their songs just instrumental. The vocals just kill that band for me. The singer is really good, I just do not like that kind of stuff.

He also has his old Solo stuff "Bulb" he was doing which was much more brutal IMO and more along the type of stuff I like.

Dude is good for sure and has made a name for himself. His band was nominated for a Grammy.

Three guitarists in the band and they all have sig models with good companies, Jackson, Ibanez and PRS!! And guitarist Jake Bowen is Petruccis cousin. I don't even know how I know that. I would like to try his Ibanez 6 string model.

First thoughts:

Looks like a 5150III.
I thought from that Undercover Boss episode Peavey closed all US plants. Where in the US is this being made?

If the Peavey sounds good and gets good reviews I would buy one. Those were the features I liked most about the Driftwood, so if Peavey can make it all work, the Invective should be a winner.

Trump opened up a manufacturing plant to make the brutulz great again. :dunno:

You can forget about using it's direct out for recording... sounds like total ass

To be fair, I've yet to hear a passive DI that sounds a whole lot better than that.

What company is making his next sig amp? Pull a name from a hat?
