rockmaster has some of the nastiest tones out there. Very underrated preamp even with it no longer being underrated

when the rockmaster was still being sold new in stores around the first gen 5150 era i took my triaxis rack into the store to check out the peavey classic power amps and ended up A/B ing the rockmaster and triaxis. the rm lead tones were comparable in quality to the tri. didn’t like the 5150 head crunch/lead tones nearly as much (but liked the 4x12 cab)!
