Zoom Q8 with an Audix i5 mic. Guitar has a PV Wolfgang pickup and Kahler bridge. Vypyr set to 6534. A bit more pick noise than I would like (damn room mic!).
I was bummed to find out that on the Q2n if you plug an external mic in it shuts off the Zoom's mics and then gives me my Shure SM57 mono on one channel (ear) only.
I researched it further and sure enough, it is a limitation. Still so much faster than the old way. I prefer in-room at this point in my life.

Sounds pretty big for a lil' one, feels pretty big for a lil' one........... at this point in life I'll take what I can get! Thanks for the comment MM!
Yeah. Exactly. It sounds big right out of the gate and it sounds pretty close to what I hear in the room. To reproduce that bigness and fullness the old fashion way would take multi-tracking, panning, software, preamp, convert to MP3 bah bla blah. I'm done with that. Don't have the patience.
