Hello all, new to building a pedalboard, and will be in need of a power supply and I need some ideas of what to look for, something more on the affordable side would be awesome.

The pedals I'll be using on the board will be: Digitech Hardwire pedals (The TL2, DL8, SC2, HT6) Digitech Whammy 5th gen, Digitech Jamman stereo, Ibanez weeping demon, and a Ernie Ball MVP volume pedal.

Would I be able to get away with the OneSpot power supply? What do you guys think?

The One Spot or any other daisy chain will give you ground loop noise, which might be OK if you're just playing at home, but really, really annoying if you're playing at volume. It worth getting something with isolated outputs. The Voodoo Pedal Lab is good. I use a BBE Supa Charger, which is a bit cheaper and also works well.

On my big board I use Voodoo Lab ISO 5 (x2) and Digital. On my small one, I use a One Spot. They don't cause noise IME. I have 2 and they work great. When they were the only power supplies I had, I used 1 for the pedals in front of the amp and 1 for the pedals in the loop. Totally silent.

I use a T-Rex Fuel Tank Jr and it's been great for me! Moved up from a Dunlop DC brick, which has been relegated to my bass/backup board, and have been pretty happy with the results! You might need to buy a couple of different supplies though given that you have 8 pedals, a lot of supplies only have 5 outputs. Cheers!

The Cioks are great, the T-REx has some complaints about noise.
If you are looking for an affordable one, the One Spot fits very well.

The new 1 Spot Pro supplies are fantastic. I have the CS12, and I have been really happy with it. No added noise whatsoever.

Yup, because it has isolated outputs

Do you already have a board? The reason I ask is because Furman makes some pedalboards with build-in power supplies. They had a hardshell model, the SPB-8C, that has been long-since discontinued. But it was a super solid pedalboard that came with a built-in power supply akin to the Furman PST-6 or PST-8 Power Station back when they were easily available. It's not a custom ATA-style flight case pedalboard, but still worth mentioning.

Other than that, if you already have a board, the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power units seem to be the more popular. I see them everywhere on almost every board.

I've had pretty good luck with the MXR Iso-brick so far. I hate the flimsy power cable and wall wart but if you can get past that it has a lot of isolated outs offering 6-18V with some at 300 and 450 mA. Priced well too. Can't go wrong with the Voodoo Lab supplies either.

It's really well designed and built. If it fits the needs of your board, I highly recommend either model.

I like the Hot Stone Deluxe by Decibel 11. The transformer is quieter on wahs and overdrives than the Voodoo Labs. I did A/B test with a pedaltrain where power supply will eventually have to sit directly under one or two pedals depending on how packed your board is. No contest.... Decibel 11 was silent.

gotta love competition. nothing like evolving price/performance as the rest of the tech industry does...

Just discovered the 1 Spot Pro... Been using the Joyo one that's essentially daisy chaining but looks more professional at home and the noise has been bothering me, might need to get a 1 Spot for home while the Voodoo Labs is on the big board
