Ok,
So Voodoo lab makes a few different ones.
I need at least 8 outlets and 3 should be 18v.
Sooooooo, would the ISO5 & the 2Plus be the way to go?

After Rupe posted about the El Capistan having ground loop issue(mines doing the same thing)
and my Red Witch Chorus making that "throbbing noise",I figured it's time to re think my power supply.

Thoughts?

I don't have any 18v pedals but IIRC, the 2Plus requires you to combine two 9v outlets which means you would only be able to power 6 pedals. I'm not sure what else is out there that would power 8 pedals with two of them being 18v???

Just got a Cioks and I'm more than impressed. Highly recommend it. Ciokolate Or MXR's CAE M403 might be the only stand alone units that will have 3-18v outs and 5 more regular ones.

Your just too good to me Thomas.
Wash yer Dick too for ya, ya ill shit

Voodoolab is coming out with the Mondo, the new and bigger Pedal Power. Otherwise, the MXR/CAE looks like a good choice.

DC Brick isn't truly isolated.

Rooster from TrailerTrash loves VoodooLabs all the way.

Paul (Cioks) has a really cool thing going.

Rooster's been working on my pedalboard blueprint for over 2 years. He's planning on using a combo of ISO5 and PP2+ to power my stuff which includes 18V stuff and the like. Also a walwart for the 48V Mk.4:23 boost; about 16 pedals in total. My take on it is if it's good enough for Rooster, it should be good enough for me.

check the mA current draw requirements in case, might save some headaches down the road (e.g enough juice to supply the red witch chorus or some of your other pedals)

good list of power supplies here:

These look amazing feature wise (and price wise) but I have no idea if they are good. Maybe one can order with a return option?

The hot stone deluxe is on my wish list, but it will be a while before I take the plunge and order one.

I don't think you can go wrong with the voodoo labs or cioks supplies. The BBE supercharger generally gets good reviews, but doesn't seem as universally liked as the voodoo labs and cioks....

you really must check out TheGigRig stuff too. (www.thegigrig.com). Its a more modular approach that gives you flexibility now, and later. Daniel knows his stuff and will respond to email questions.

Agreed - he has a good thing going on as well.
