Getting the taxes done today and will be looking to put a power source on my pedal train and quit purchasing 9v's every time I blink lol. Is there another supply to check out or is the PP2+ the end all be all of power supplies?

If you don't need the plug socket the bbe supercharger i have has been really great, it also came with a crapload of cables and is cheaper than the pp2 i think.

I still have the PP1, it's great! Clean, reliable, quality! I've had it since it first hit the market, so that's what...13-15 years now?

anyone have issues with ground loops with pedal board power supplies?
I am also looking for a new pedal board power supply. preferably one that has a socket for at least one wall wart . The power supply I have now gives horrid humm whenever i plug into one of the 9vdc regulated jacks but no issue when using one of the sockets so Im interested in this topic as well.
for what its worth the Noah'sark that I use has been giving me the issues but I think it is only available in Japan.

I know that CAE makes some pedal board power supplies as well and have seen a few around always "not for sale" written on them though.

Godlyke Power-All, cheap and powers up to 11 stomp boxes (9v). Noiseless with my setup, from expensive Fulltone to cheap Behringer stuff. Comes with various adapters for some Line6 stuff.

Yeah, I've had a PP2 since 2002 maybe? Never an issue, always reliable. Just make sure whatever you get has isolated outs so you don't get ground loop issues.

Just go with a pedal power 2, you will be happy you did.

Yup.

It is a quality unit Randy and mounts below the pedaltrain as well out of the way, no noise issues due to the isolated channels.

If I remember correctly, PedalTrain has a mounting kit just for the PP2.

Think you are right.

Word of caution as one can see I am missing a screw.............get better screws as the ones that come with the kit are crap white metal

Agree with the consensus here. I too have had my PP2 since around '02 and never had a single issue with it. Plus the Voodoo Lab people are really cool, you can get more cables from them to be able to run two of the Line 6 pedals, or say you need more battery defeat cables, whatever - there's so many configuration options.
