I'm looking for some ideas or suggestions for my board. I have a pt-1 with hard case. On the board itself are the following:

Boss NS2
Boss CE2
Boss DD3
MXR/CAE Boost Line Driver
Boss SD1
Rocktron Banshee talkbox
Whirlwind AB Selector
Line 6 Relay G30 (coming soon)

I'm powering the pedals with a godlyke powerall. No problems there other than having to plug it in.

The banshee, whirlwind and relay all have wall warts. My power strip at the moment can only fit the banshee, whirlwind and godlyke on it. I think the whirlwind can also take 9v battery but I'm not sure without checking it.

I'd love to be able to buy something to power everything but it's not in the budget. I'm afraid I'm stuck with the wall warts.

I've seen the powersquid which is basically a power strip that splits into 5 individual power ready outlets....so it's easier to fit more than 3 wall warts.

Are there any other options that you guys know of? Remember, my budget is basically nothing right now, other than a power strip of some kind...something that's relatively small too to fit inside the board's case with the wall warts.

There are power strips that are designed for wall-warts. There are some inexpensive variants out there, but one that comes to mind is this Furman.

Hope that helps, mang.

Are you saying the wall warts won't fit because they cover up the plug in below them? If so, you could get a power strip that has the outlets facing outwards from the strip, so the wall wart doesn't cover the next outlet.

yes the whirlwind does take a 9v battery. i have one.. though i'm not using it now.. i have in the past. battery life isn't a big problem with these as the battery seems to last quite awhile. in a pinch you could put a battery in it and you wouldn't have to worry about it dying on you in the middle of a gig. just remember to unplug the inputs when you're done.

I ended up buying a powersquid at target for $14. The whirlwind is a pain to swap batteries as you need to unscrew the cover. I ran out of adapters for my godlyke too. This powersquid should work well for the time being.

sounds like your problem is solved then. (pardon the pun)

Same problem here, same solution. www.woot.com had a sale on powersquids - 2 for $9, so I bought 4 of them. :) Very useful!
