Pedalboard routing

So I have put together the pedals I want on my pedalboard - after switching from a multi-effects floorboard.

Now I am looking for a solution to help me deal with wiring all of this stuff together and keeping it clean for output to my amp.

I am looking for something - box/pedal - that has in/out with 2 effects loops but will let me mix one effects loop to the out. Essentially, I want to have one effects loop go to the front of the amp and the other through the effects loop. Any affordable solutions? I am hoping I don't have to spend more than $100 on it.

I bought a 4 in\4 out box that's the same size as a pedal. I use it to create two loops - the delays and stuff that would normally go in the loop and the gain devices that go in front. I wanted it because I switch between amps and not all have effects loops. I can bridge the two loops together this way and run everything into the amp when I want or run my cables from my loop to the box for amps with effect loop.

I'm wondering if you could add a pot or use a volume pedal to control output level?

wiring is a little sloppy...I made some quick routing changes to get the fuzz where I wanted, but you get the idea

That's the thing with pedalboards.. you wire them in nice and tight and then end up swapping things in and out. My suggestion is to not get too obsessed with having a pedal board like a friedman all wired up nice because if you tinker, you'll end up cutting all your ties and moving stuff in and out.

amen to that! I'm bad about making changes the day of a gig lol

I ended up getting a Boss Line Selector pedal. It's a pretty cool pedal actually and will let me turn off the effects loop altogether while keeping signal to the front of the amp - which is exactly what I needed.

Not the prettiest but here it is all wired up. Bottom row will go to the front of the amp and the top to the effects loop.

Look at Paul Gilbert or Satch's pedalboard. Think they are worried about how neat and tidy it looks? Half of it is duct taped down.. we've all become too obsessed with neat and tidy. Rock is dirty and amps are played dirty. As long as they stay in place and work and are easy to more or less troubleshoot a connection problem, you are good to go!
