I just recently bought a pedal pad with the TRS locking jacks. I'm not sure what brand they are but I don't believe they are neutrik or switchcraft. When I plug a cable to the output of my disaster area loop switcher to the locking jack and then to the input of my amp I get a 60 cycle hum. The board is made out wood so the the jacks are already isolated. If touch both the housing of the plug and the housing of the locking jack the hum goes away.

I've since taken apart the locking jack and discovered that pin 1 is not grounded to the housing. I can easily solder a wire connecting the two housing to get a proper ground but I'm surprised I would need to do that since these come with the pedalboard.

FWIW I've taken my pedal out of the chain and just came straight from my guitar. Here was my chain : Guitar >locking jacking>amp input. Same problem as described above. I've attached a picture of the jacks in case your not sure what I'm talking about

Has anyone had a similiar problem?

Every product has some percentage of defects. You can either buy a new one or if you just got the board, ask the builder to replace it.

Those are probably made by redline.
