Title says it all, which do you prefer? And for everyone's enjoyment, feel free to post photos

I have always done a pedalboard, the key benefit is that I can adjust the pedals as needed. The one thing I don't like is that if you don't have loopers its easy to get into a tap dancing situation. Also my boards tend to take up some serious space on stage as they are 3 feet wide.

I actually run both. I have my Timefactor, Space, Ibanez Lo Fi and Maxon OD808 all in my rack running through an Axess Electronics GRX4, and on my board I have my Axess Electronics FX1, BS2, Korg Pitchblack, TC Corona Chorus, MXR EVH 90, MXR Uni-Vibe, Digitech Whammy V all running through another GRX4. I thought about going all rack, but enjoy having the modulation pedals on the floor for tweaking on the fly.

I asked this months ago to crickets! Lol!

I have the same dilemma. I have a few midi pedals that all run through my loop, but a few OD's/Fuzz, wah and phaser that I run in front. Looking to add a midi controller but it'll require me to have a much bigger pedalboard to have out front and I do a lot if vocals. Thought racking s the stuff in my loop as well as a midi amp switcher would save space and keep cables to a minimum on stage.

Thoughts?
