Personal records data breach

I am already in the three big credit watchers, whatever they are called.
All from a large, yet again data breach a few years back.

Pretty sure I get lifetime monitoring?

I think these data breaches (Which are totally unacceptable and should put these organizations out of business) are simply a means to create markets for other products and services, in this case credit and ID monitoring. "Oopsies, we left the door open and someone stole your stuff, want to buy a door lock for our business so your stuff is safe?"

my "free" credit monitoring due to breaches are 12 months and 36 months, not forever. may want to check to be sure. the one I pay for renews every year

You may be right and I will look into it.
Didn't think much about it when I signed on a few weeks back, I noticed one dropped off and I am down to two monitoring.
I'm appreciating this thread...
