Exactly right and that includes compensation (in whatever form it may be) for demoing gear. I don't get why some people have a problem with this.

Because they're upset they're not at that level more often than not.

How else do you justify high end purchases?

So yeah back to the amp I guess ? I actually think it looks cool Pete. IMO having to buy a 2x12 with it is kinda lame though sorry ....Will suhr release a version of this head that can be purchased without a cab at some point ?

The amp sounded great for sure. So much better then the clip from an iPhone would show. It was a great time to hang with Pete and hear it in person. Everyone should try it out with their own hands and ears. It has dynamics that I had never experienced before. Everyone in the room was offered time with the amp and Pete's guitar. That made it even cooler because they all got a chance to play what they wanted to hear out of it themselves. I felt the oversized 2x12 was more than enough. In a room with hardwood floors and glass along one wall the amp still had superb bass response when you hit the low notes. Was never muddy either.
I meant to ask Pete if he had ever hung out with Andy Timmons. Andy is one of my favorites too. I would love to see a tour with Pete and Andy!!

How's the tone at lower home volumes ?

The video was recording the amp at home volume. This room we were in was about the size of my own living
room and it was just right. Someone wanted to hear it cranked and we got to hear it at pretty loud volume as
well.
