PETE THORN NEW CORNELL TOURING RIG BY RACK SYSTEMS

Here is Pete's new rig for the Cornell touring season. The rig is based around his PT100 head and is supplemented by a Egnater M4 for more bassman and vox type tones. Basically you have the pedals you see in the Rjm switcher then then to the pedla board wha/vol/Eventide and back to the rack.Then there is a loop for the front end of the Axe fx [used for pedal simulations and or amp sounds]. Then another loop for the Eganater and another for the Pt100 preamp section. The the preamp choice then goes to the return of the PT100 and to a dry cab. We then take a custom line out of the head and that feeds the custom mixer and that feeds the Axefx back end [for timed base stuff]back to the mixer and out to a Randall RT50 power amp. Thanks to John Suhr for the custom mixer board design. Here you go.

All the great racks I have been seeing as of late makes me want a giant.

That's awesome Brad - if Pete dislocates his pinky mid tour you'll be ready to jump right in with the same rig :lol: :LOL: I would send him a p.m. right now so he can check that one off his pre tour list.
 
AxeFx, an all the other tone options, I Love it!!
But who the Fks gonna carry that thing??! UGH....
Im tryin to scale stuff Back, you guys are builiding Racks of Doom.... :lol: :LOL:
 
Awesome rig. Thorn is a terrific player and always seems to have killer tone.

...just killing me Dave (and Pete)! Those would be my most often used Egnater modules right there with very similar settings too. Can you share what is unique about the mixer as compared with something like the old Rocktron rack mixer or DMC System mix plus.

Pete, John said he thought I'd love that head, so I look foward to playing one soon.
 
What's the purpose of the Carvin DCM150 in the rack? Backup power amp? Or?
 
FYI, found this new Pete clip with his baby TC Nova rig, sounds great!

 
Carvin is for backup. John yeah I think you might like the PT a lot I know I do. Dave
 
Well I was is a hurry and I can't spell to save my life. They should make label makers with spell check.
