Man... that was just phenomenal. Tones were great, but the playing and writing were both really stellar...

I have a feeling that Fractal just sold a bunch more units didn't they?

Sounds great, tones & dynamics are really good. Been playing the "Guitar Nerd" CD during set breaks at the shows & people are digging it & asking about it. Cool!

That was really cool. Some of of the sounds sort of remind me of sounds Tim Pierce used on "Guitarland."
+1
you da man!

...i'd love to hear what apogee duet into axe II digitally, digital out of axe II to recorder sounds like....to avoid the axeII converters.

i used a 10 dollar spdif to toslink/optical interface to get to garage band from my ultra and it never sounded or felt better, albeit a bit of unwanted latency.

Actually in my vid I'm running the unbalanced outs out of the axe 2 into an Apogee Ensemble. My original session for Homage is 24 bit 44.1, and the axe 2 digital out only works at 48K so I had to come out of the analog outs. So you are hearing apogee conversion!

i figured you had apogee in there somewhere-your demo of the apogee mic with your gf singing was stupid wrong in a great way!
i was just suggesting minimal axe conversion ala gtr->duet->axe digital in/out to DAW,
if the duet out axe in link is possible...

Wow Pete,

Thanks for that. I loved hearing the tune and then having you take apart the tones individually.

How long do you usually spend finding tones for yourself? Are you familiar enough with the Axe now that it only takes a few minutes? Just curious about that.

Thanks again for the sweet demo...AWESOME playing and AWESOME CD as well.

Great tones and playing. That's my favorite axe sounds I've heard.

Definitely could hear the influences.........amazing and so well done. Wow.

WOW!

Reminds me of Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, and Andy Timmons all mixed together.

+1 to everything said here, Well friggin done Pete. That was a perfect piece to demo nuance and dynamics...

Sounds great and I really like that song. I still don't want an Axe-2 though. :D
