Peter Steele (Type O Negative) - Dead????

Man, I thought it was another "joke" from him. That sucks.

My g/f is a big Type O fan

The month of April has taken quite a bit of talent..
Kurt Cobain 1994
Layne Staley 2002
 
I kind of thought being dead was kind of part of the image of Type O.
 
That sucks, one day while at work in Brooklyn I was at Sam ash and I ran I to him and a blonde chick and we talked for a few min and he was a nice guy.

ton is one of my favorite bands and Pete is such a great songwriter

I haven't listened to them in years, but I really dug them. Peter was one of a kind. May he rest in peace.
 
TON = best show I've ever seen.

Pete = probably my favorite vocalist ever.


This is the same way I felt when Dimebag passed :(

He had a rep for substance abuse didn't he?

I know a woman who went to watch Carnivore (she was a fan of two decades). She intended to go see a few shows - she only went to one due to how dull Steele was)

I'm not a fan, unfortunate anyway
 
Really Sad,

Type O Negative is one of my favorite bands of all time. . . Pete you will be missed man! REST IN PEACE BIG BROTHER
 
Amazing band, and a killer frontman/songwriter.
If it's not a joke, may he RIP.
 
R.I.P. Type O Negative was one of them bands I love , but forgot about. I am going to go pull out my October Rust.
