Peters chimera or Elmwood M60

I have the chance too buy an Elmwood M60,a great amp that I really liked.
But I have big gas for an Peters Chimera after hearing the clips at NY amp fest,can only afford one of them.Anyone that have tried or owned both that can help out.Thanks

From what I've heard from various clips is that the Elmwood sounds more on the modern side, more compressed. The Chimera sounds more vintage, more open sounding. psychodave sounded killer playing through the Chimera. However, you could just get an Axe-Fx and get both amps in one.

Im sure the Axe is better for windmills too.

I don't hear any special about the Elmwood Modena.
Go for the Peters.

In all seriousness I had a M60 and was cool but not that special. I agree Id go for the Peters.

I didn't realize the Axe-Fx has the ability to sound identical to a Chimera. I guess I learn something new every day.
