great clips and playing, mang. we have the same thrashy style. i love the sound of the amp, bigtime. i've wanted a gryphon for a while now.
i can tell you from personal experience that it is the subs that are making your camera move. when i first got mine, i would jam for a few minutes and turn around to find all sorts of stuff had fallen onto the floor. wound up having to put breakable stuff either away or in another room.
at the beginning of the second clip you hit the foot switch to go to the heavy channel. just before you start playing i can hear the high gain hiss. do you ever throw a decimator in the loop to shut the hiss down, or do you just live with it? i know all high gain heads hiss, some more than others. just wondering (since you and i both love the isp stuff) if you have ever used a decimator in the loop of your amps. i got so used to dead silence (like standby silence) from the kerry king marshall and the engl powerballs built in gates i can't seem to live with hiss anymore. i have even dumped heads that sounded fantastic (framus cobra and dragon) because the loops didn't work well with the decimator and were still hissy.
i know the hiss is not so much of a big deal once you add a p.a. and a drummer into the room, but i am playing by myself in a tight room with padded walls.
in reality, i think i am the only person i know who is this o.c.d. about amp hiss. at juggernauts house, he wasn't concerned about the hiss from his amps. but when he came down to dallas, he did notice how much more quiet my rig was, and i was running 4 heads at once though 7 cabs and the sub at MUCH higher volumes.
