That just flat out kicks major ass!!!!!!

I'm actually diggin' that Yamaha with the P90's as well. It looks like a thick body and sounds great.

If dave would only make one of those amps, or another model, in a small headshell case, I'd be so in love! :D I absolutely hate large (typical size) headshells.

Time to ditch that Diezel I guess....

:scared: I've never really heard of Phil X until this. I'm now a fan. Thank you again Rig Talk!! Smoking playing on a smoking amp. Great persona that fella has, he should do alot more demos.

Search YouTube for him, there are tons of his demos on there for Fretted Americana.

that was really, really good. did he mention what delay he was using?

Great demo!! Love Phil X, I'll have what he's having, always on top of the world! Amp sounded fantastic and now I want a Luxxtone just like that one, very versatile.

Phil did all the guitar on the first Daughtry CD. . .great player!

What a great amp...sounded incredible IMO. Is Phil that much of a spaz off camera?

I'm mostly a high gain guy but I gotta say the most impressive part of that vid was when he used the single coils on the Luxxtone and busted into Little Wing. Thats the kinda tone that seperates the good shit from well... shit. Fun video!

actually is the only thing that bothers me hehehehe

If they ever remake Fast Times at Ridgemont High I think I know who would be perfect in the role of Spiccolli.

I just finished drinking a Red Bull and watched Phil X...my heart is pounding and I have G.A.S.

I dig how he demo's the amp as most of us would play it. Uses different guitars, uses volume roll off, actually adjusted the gain on the amp   and plays a few different styles. That amp is nice but not quite my thing these days, but great demo.

I have the pleasure of knowing Phil and I can tell you it's no 'act.' The guy is 24/7 energy and good vibes. It's probably why he looks so young for a guy in his later 40's. (47, I think?)
Also an incredibly generous guy. He's helped my band out in big ways.

I feel like just watching YouTube vids of this guy over the past couple of years has made me a better player.

Back to that amp, Phil phan-boi-ism aside, I said "Holy Sh*t!!!" at the first E chord!

Very Van Halen. Sounds cool when he plays the Strat neck pickup.

sick sick amp, and Phil is by far one of my fav. players. really a great combo Phil X + Friedman :)

you guys should get him to do the demos for all your amps....it'd help sell A LOT more.

This brings up a question for me... What happened to JMR? Dude had some serious chops on those older TM videos, great player IMO. I honestly prefer his style to that of Phil X. All that "energy" starts grating on my nerves in less than a minute.
