Man, this thing is fun. Did a quick clip here jamming.
It’s a 50w! Man it’s so fun, and I got a hell of a deal on it. The low mid content is a lot different to me. The MTL sits more like an uber or rectifier in the mix in the low mid content. Also more gain on tap than the MC. The MC really sits to me like a bigger Marshall. I do think with the sweep on the mtl you could get real close in sound. In terms of the mtl sounding close to the MC. However you can’t get the MC to sound like the mtl if you want that low mid heavy metal sound.Sounds awesome! 100w el34? Congrats on the new amp. How do you like it compared to the MC6L?
This is what I going to be true as well . I even get grest acdc tones out if mtl 2 . It’s thereIt’s a 50w! Man it’s so fun, and I got a hell of a deal on it. Although my MTL is a clone and the Uber I had was the Synergy module, I totally felt the same. I was able to get the synergy module dialed in super close to the MTL clone. It’s a 50w! Yeah I have to run them in stereo for sure. Be a lot of funMixing Hermanson with Wizard is the greatest sound ever . You got to try it
What do you use to split the signal?Mixing Hermanson with Wizard is the greatest sound ever . You got to try it
I think biggest differences are in the gain structure, also the mtl is bit tighter, it’s less compressed, and the 2k- end of spectrum is definitely different.Although my MTL is a clone and the Uber I had was the Synergy module, I totally felt the same. This thing rules . Can do 3 at onceWhat do you use to split the signal?

Phase switches should come in handy. Can’t imagine how loud those two would be together. It’s awesome. It’s have phase switches to mske sure noises are eliminated
It’s fucking gloriousPhase switches should come in handy. Can’t imagine how loud those two would be together.
Really contemplating getting a KHE amp switcher too. Would make A/Bing a lot easier. If you’re not hearing truly back to back it’s very hard to make a fair assessment. It’s fucking glorious
Thanks man, it’s a Mesa oversized w/ V30, sm57. Use this mic stand by amp hook called the wishbone. Just sits underneath your amp and can get great mic placement with it. I usually try to keep it as simple as possible. When I add stuff I make it sound worse, so I just keep it simple. If I was to use this in a mix I wouldn’t do much eq either just a low pass, high pass, maybe some 300 taken out.Oh, that is sick! Thanks for the clip, sounds awesome! What did you record with? What cab did you use?

I’ll add that I heavily process bass, and drums when mixing but guitars really don’t take it well and start sounding weird as shit. Get it right at the source and good to go. Don’t be afraid to get close to the center of the speaker either.
