Picked up another bow. Like I really needed one.

I haven't bought a "new" bow in.. Well, pretty much ever. But this was too good a deal to pass up.

Fully loaded Mathews Triax. Haven't been able to really shoot it yet because I need a different set of draw length mods but I flung a few just to test the draw cycle and how it felt in the hand at the shot. Butter smooth draw cycle, and zero hand shock.

Matthews are the best man.
Back in my tournament shooting days ~10 years ago, I pretty much repped all Bowtech stuff but also owned and shot several Mathews bows. I'm waiting on a different draw mod and some 250 spined arrows I've got on order so I can give it a real go. Should all be here by Tues/Wed of next week.

250?!! Wow. Stiff!
What’s your draw & poundage?

Yeah, the spine seemed kinda heavy to me too. I usually shoot 350's. It's only 60# @ 29", sometimes I'll go out to 30" depending on what type of release I'm using (strap vs. thumb/hinge) but that's what archers advantage arrow calculator called for with that bows particular specs. I just picked up a Lift X 33 yesterday, found a basically new one locally, and the owner was into music gear, so we did a little trading. I met up with the guys girlfriend, because he was out of town, but she said he pretty much impulse bought it and had only shot it once before he decided that bow hunting wasn't his thing. lol

I’m right on the edge of 350’s & 400’s.. t-Rex arms with 27” draw, but I shoot at 70lbs to make up for short draw & slower bow (will do so until I can’t do it accurately).

30 yards at my club yesterday
