Pickup change in a PRS recommandation

Hey guys, I have a PRS Se 245 which I love. The sound is good but the bridge pickup feedback a lot and easy. The guitar is in mahogany with a maple veneer. I used to play more with my 2 alder strats mounted with Duncan JB. I realy love the JB but never tried one on a Mahogany guitar. I never been a Dimarzio fan, so I would stay in Duncan or simply change for a PRS Pup. What do you recommand? I know Anderson have Mahogany guitar and I love their sound.

I play in a Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 50, Vintage chanel, big rock heavy sound, Gain around 1 o'clok boosted a bit with a TS-808 or an Boss SD-1.

Hope you have enough parameters to recommand me goods :) and if you have sound samples let's go!

No I don't know well BK pups unfortunately! Anything else Rig talkers?
 
What do u want to spend? I put some tonerider in a ce22 and like them. I put the rocksong in bridge and an a2 in neck. Will definitely be better than stock for not much coin.
 
Im using Dimarzios (Air Norton/AT-1) in my PRS. Big improvement over the stock pups. Whatever you choose, try clipping the treble bleed. It tends to thin the tone out, even with the volume full up.
 
I also have an SE245 that I'm looking to change pickups in. I've read good things about the Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers. Was thinking of dropping a set of those in when I get the cash.
 
I threw a SD Custom in my SC245 and love it for a variety of styles
 
Ive got two mahogany les pauls and i love the JB in them. Its a classic match imo..
 
I had a Johnny Hiland PRS that I put a Suhr Aldrich set in and it sounded really good!
 
I use a DiMarzio DP200 Steve Morse in my PRS C24.
I love them for their clarity and punch.
 
Haven't played the SE, but I have an SC245 that I threw a set of WCR Godwoods in, and it went from really good, to GREAT.

Highly reccomebd you check them out.

The only video I have is with an old AxeFx Standard (back at version 9), but the guitar is fantastic.

Edit-very nice midrange with the pickups, on everything I've played them through.

 
I had a PRS Singlecut SE with JB/Jazz combo and it sounded great. Highly recommended.
 
Don't rule out Wilde (Lawrence) pickups either.
I have an SE Åkesson model with an L500XL.
I really like it :)
 
I had a se 245 w/ JB/59 combo, big improvement, sounded great for reasonable $.
 
I have no recommendations but i can't tell you what NOT to put in there. :lol: :LOL: I have an SC245 and a MESA Single Rec....i replaced my pickups with Suhr Aldrich's and the sound is really "barky" and not in a good way. I know these pickups sound great in Les Pauls but for some reason they don't sound too hot in the PRS (go figure). :) I'm think of going SD Custom Custom.
