So I just noticed this now
Here's a pic, there was a different pickup in here before, it was a schaller...whoever put it in must of changed out the bridge as well.
Does this look like a Les Paul Bridge?

Adjust the bridge saddles. It appears that the saddles are treaded. Should be able to loosen the strings, lift them off the saddle and spin the saddles clockwise or counter clockwise depending on perspective, and it will line up.

Yeah, they have been adjusted like that because the nut needs replacement, getting a new one installed Tuesday.
Its all related, thanks for the help.

Not a Gibson bridge. Something looks weird there. The bridge and back pickup should be parallel to each other, something is offset at an angle there.

The Bridge pickup is Parallel to the tail piece. I maybe wrong but isn't Les Paul's Bridge itself angled?

1. It's not a Gibson bridge.

2. Gibson bridges are NOT parallel to the rear pickup. They are angled away (to the rear) on the bass side.

Here's two Les Paul bridges. My '81 Standard doesn't have the screws coming through the top either. But that doesn't look like a Gibson bridge, those certainly aren't Les Paul saddles. But like you said, probably installed to compensate for the nut?

This!
The first is a tune-0-matic, the second is an ABR.

And what's on OP's guitar appears to be a Schaller Roller Bridge

Not to totally hijack OP's thread (sorry), but I'm curious if anyone drawn to this thread knows.

Gibson Tune-O-Matic bridges. Almost all of them have the post holes coming through the top. The ABR1 I believe has screws for adjusting the height.

It seems that around 1982 for a time they made Tune-O-Matic bridges with no top showing post holes. Is there a name for this bridge? Was it "Norlin era" cost cutting of some type? Or just a weird variation?

This pic here is a 1982 Les Paul Standard. Identical to the one I own (which is my first guitar and my #1). Notice the bridge doesn't have visible post holes on the top. It's almost impossible to find this variation in the wild.

Anyway, curious if someone could shed some light on this.

Thanks for the help, it has a schaller bridge and had a schaller pup.
schaller will stay in the guitar. New nut being installed tomorrow :)

Talking out my ass again! I realized I was wrong today when I was working on a guitar in the shop.

Primarily two bridges uses Nashville and ABR-1's

What is shown is looks like neither ;)

What model of Les Paul?

Ya man, ditch that POS bridge... It hurts to look at

Mo - Lester Fanboi

That Schaller Roller bridge makes sense if you use a bigsby. I used to have one of these on my LP Special and it sucked the tone away.
Just get a standard TOM bridge installed by someone who knows his stuff.
