Just recently picked up an ESP SRC7, one of the older custom shop models that is 25.5" scale length. The guitar has a SD JB in the bridge as all of his guitars did before the switch to EMG's. I'm looking to swap that pickup out for something a little more aggressive. I find the JB to be a bit lackluster tbh. What would you guys recommend for that guitar to keep the DNA of the JB but add some more girth? For reference, its an alder body maple neck thru so that can tend to be bright with certain pickups and I'm running into a EVH 5153 with a Diezel 212 cab w/V30's.

I have a 6 string neck through ESP Mirage (believe it's alder wings and maple neck as well) with a BKP Miracle Man in the bridge that sounds really good and suits the guitar well in my opinion. Sounds massive for metal riffing. Lead tones are nice as well, not harsh on the treble.

Duncan Distortion is kinda like a more aggressive JB, at least to my ear.

Never looked into the MM much but after reading your response and the description on the BKP site, I'm quite intrigued by that pickup now.
