50th anniversary les paul. after spending $11,000 on it, I was afraid to touch it.

Cornford RK100; not because it's a shitty amp (although not my end all and be all) but because of the still ongoing hassle of an insurancecompany that won't pay after it got damaged in shipping.

Should not have bought...

Carvin Legacy
One man's junk is another man's treasure. :D
The Legacy is of my favorite amps...but I like a darker, thick tone sometimes.

Mesa Mark V head, maybe i got a shitty one but it had ridiculously loud pops between channel 1 and 3 and seemed to sound a bit dull to me and on top of it when i took it back to the store and they talked to Mesa they basically just said thats what it was supposed to sound like so i sold that shit.

Oh... The Gary Moore Sig. Les Paul... Them cheap ones they brought out (BFG or something).

Just over 1000 euros, yet it felt like it cost 2.

Hmm... let's see... Digitech GNX-4 multi-effects processor. Too complicated, sounded digital and lifeless. Glad I sold it.

Gonna have to say my recto. But NOT because I don't like it. But I had to experiment with settings forever, tube swaps and mods to get it where I wanted. Now it's unique and sounds great, but for the money I have into it I could've chosen many other amps that are more versatile and better suited to my playing.

Suhr riot and shiba drive...
To be fair, I love the Koko boost...

Mesa Mark III. It was fully loaded and a nice amp but was not what I was looking for. Luckily I got a monumentally good deal on it and sold it for great profit.

Ibanez JEM7V....beauitiful guitar, but it sounded like shit! :D

ENGL SE: It spent more time in the shop than it did in my studio the year and a half I owned it. Top that with the absolute shit customer service I experienced with them and you have a solid winner for worst purchase ever.

Burns Brian May signature. Ordered one online after trying one in the store. The one I got online was very disappointing and by the time I got it set up, I couldn't send it back.

Engl Fireball 60. I thought it had a nice metal sound, but that was it. Too much of a one trick pony for me. Should have opted for the Blackmore head

Lastly a Peavey transtube supreme head and 412M cab. I bought this when I was 18 and had no car. It was a pain to lug around, should have opted for the bandit combo.

Suhr Riot
Diezel Einstein
Soultone plexi
Tyler Burning Water
Modded Blankenship Custom 45

Basson 4x12. Bought this when I first started getting into playing....what a mistake! Fought with it for about 2 years before trying a Rectifier 4x12 and realizing how badly this cab sucked tone. Far and away my worst purchase.

My first guitar and amp. It was a Martin Stinger electric guitar, and a Peavey audition 20 practice amp.
Those 2 amazing pieces of crap have lead to 15 years of obsessive fucking tone chasing and thousands of dollars poured out of my wallet!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!
