Piezo pickup for Floyd guitars??

I HATE playing an electric acoustic.
Is there any way around this with my Floyd equipped guitars?
I know years ago, I checked and they did not make a piezo
pickup for Floyds...
Is there anything close that would work with a Floyd?

I called...

It's not in production at all.
They built 10 of them and had a few guitarists try 'em out.

Maybe in the next year or so, they said there "might" be a production model available.

That's odd because they have a link on their site to order them.... That's the only option you got unless you buy an Ibanez with it already installed. Sorry.

If I remember correctly the Ibanez Double Edge is not available for purchase separately. Could be wrong.

The Double Edge cannot be bought through Ibanez Rules or third party parts distributors. I believe it's because of Ibanez's contract with LR Baggs

Double Edge will not even be replaced if you break one on your Ibanez guitar.

Yep, my main guitar is an RG2127X... if something in that bridge dies, I'm pretty much fucked. :(

That's why I didn't buy the RG1820X that I wanted. I really want a piezo but Ibanez refuses to replace them if you break 'em. Dumb as hell.

If only there was another company with a 7-string guitar equipped with a piezo-loaded Floyd. :(
