Got bad Pink Taco GAS (!), just wondering if anyone has used one live with a band to confirm it has the volume to keep up with live drums, bass etc in a rehearsal situation or small gig not mic'd up.
Friend of mine gigs one with his rock cover band here locally...its plenty loud for small clubs without a doubt...and thats me saying this as an audience member...
With a mic and good PA/monitor system, any amp can be used live. That said, I've used both a Mesa/Boogie Studio .22+ and a Deluxe Reverb on many unmic'ed gigs...20 watts is plenty to keep up with the rest of the band as long everybody is dedicated to getting the overall mix right.
