I recently picked up a roadcase from a RT member (which BTW was a pleasure to buy from) that now houses my Bogner. Problem is the case is a little too tall for the head so there is about a 2 1/2" gap above the head. Where there is foam (left and right of the handle) it's only about a 2" gap. I want to remove the 1/2" foam from either side and replace it with 3" plank foam so she's snug in there. I've found a few sites out there with the plank stuff but nothing 3" and if I do find 3" it's in huge sheets when I only really need a 2'x2' square, really. I'm willing to buy more than I need but a 24"x108" sheet? Damn. So if anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. And the other thing is the density...I'm assuming I don't want too dense of a foam? I'm soooo skeptical of gigging this amp out with the kinds of venues we play but I'd feel better if it's in a case and I REALLY want to bring it out to shake a venue down on top of the Emperor, but not until it's nice and snug in the case.

Thanks,
Jonny Mac

There has to be a local foam rubber dealer in your area. I would start by looking for one local to you.

Check out mcmaster Carr .com you could also try the ebay ata companies, you may be gale to score a piece of foam from them.
