I just bought Transparent Blue Burst model at Ken Stanton Music in Atlanta for....$599!! They are selling all the Charvels from last year at this price. I believe they have the snow white, a pink one, neon yellow, and an orange one left. Thats a great price. Ken Stanton always beats GC and Sweetwater by a few bucks. Their sales guys are also very knowledgeable too, and always take care of you.

Nice! Let us know what you think once you get it. I'd like to give one of the new Charvel MIM guitars a while but it is impossible to find one in local shops.

I"m going to buy the Transparent Blue Burst hard tail one on my lunch break. It was a toss up between that and the all white hard tail. Both play and sound great for the money. I prefer the feel of the rosewood fingerboard, but I think the maple fretboard on the white guitar may sound a little better but not much. I wish I could switch the necks since I like the look of the BB model more.

There is a white hard tail with maple board? I would be all over that (as long as it’s not the Tele body). I haven’t seen that. I love the Charvel and want one, but can never find a maple or ebony board with fixed bridge.

Yep! For $599 without the case. Its at their main store. I almost bought that but went with the blue. Even if you had to pay for shipping, its still a great deal. I bought a Gator gig bag for $40 since I'll just be bringing this back and forth to work, and won't be gigging with it since I have it tuned to standard. Its more of a practice guitar, but I'm really tempted to get another one.

It plays and sounds great. You can't beat it for the money. My only small complaint is that the high E is close to the end of the fret around the 17th fret. Since I never pull my high E down, its not really a problem but its a little closer to the edge of the fret than I'd like it. Overall I'm alot more impressed with it than I thought I would be. I've always like the Charvels but stayed away since I have a nice Warmoth build that I feel is better than any Charvel could ever be. This guitar is great too though. Its alot different from Warmoth, mainly because its a hard tail and has coil taps. The tele looking Charvels are hideous imo, so I'm glad I was able to get this one at a great price.
