I'm such a cave man - I'm not using the IRs (!) I'm just using the 'line out / loop send' to feed the input of my Marshall - like any other 'Amp-In-A-Box' pedal. The Marshall head is driving a Thiele ported 2x12 with a 65 Watt Creamback and a UK Marshall Branded V-30. Its really, really killer sounding.
Oh ok, I havent made it that far yet.
Im such a noob with this tech!
I really am an old man yelling at the clouds!

My plan at some point though is to try it out thru my PS2 and 2061 cab.
Admit though, ripping over Youtube tracks with headphones has been pretty fun...

Also being a Morris owner, I know exactly what you mean.

They really make pretty much everything I’ve used before from the bottom to the previous top sit in “second tier” category. From Peavey to Soldano, they aren’t at this level, imho.
Which Morris would be best for 80s Hard Rock and Metal in the style of Ratt, Dokken, Queensryche, ACDC, etc?

I don't know what's changed with the circuit, if anything, but to me the original 100w JEL sounded a bit more raw. Or maybe it's all in my head. In any case, I think Jason does it better:

Well, the styles and sounds of ACDC to Queensryche are pretty far apart. If you had left out Queensryche, I'd say get a UK67 or 68. Queenryche to me is more clean tones (as in cleans feature a lot in their sound, and you would want a clean channel), and an XS III would be better suited.

I currently own a Sirrom, and have a UK68 being built which I am anticipating an update shortly that it's time for me to pick my headshell colors, etc. The Sirrom also gets into that zone, but perhaps a tiny bit more "modern". Almost like a cross between a Marshall and a Mesa Mark series.
