Played a VL100 Legacy..... dug it

Always curious about these amps. Finally got to play one. Man I kept going back to it. I wish the clean channel was a little more chimey. But it was a cool sounding amp. for the price I want one. Curious about the VL2 now three channel. Had a touch of bogner to it. But thicker. Would like to hear it with a OD.

I was curious about how it took pedals. Sometimes an OD can make an amp putter out.
I do wish the clean was a bit better though/chimey. Now ibwamt to play the 3 channel version.

have heard some nice clips of the Legacy II, would like to try on in person, but they don't seem to have caught on as much as I would of thought.

Legacy series is a great amp....have had mine now for a couple years. I always use an overdrive with it, but every one I use sounds great. Clean channel is incredible.

I was under the impression that Steve Vai sat down with Carvin and designed the Legacy and Legacy II toward his tone. His Tone at that time was a Bogner Ecstasy and Egnater Mica Tol in the 90s. This leeds me to the thought that is is very close to the Tonal mix of those two amps. So They should sound GREAT. Steve Vai is very anal about his tone and playing so it has to be good for him to endorse them.
