playing through 2 cabs at one time

Has anyone ever gigged with 2 16ohm cabs that were different sizes? I am playing tonight and due to the small room, my 4x12 will be turned around and mic'ed. I'd like to use the 1x12 as a monitor in front of me. I realize I will not get full power but that isn't an issue. Anyone ever do something like that?
 
Never done it like that but it should work fine. If you're turning the 4x12 backwards why use it at all?
 
I've gigged my 2x12 and 4x12 16 ohm cabs at the same time.
 
So both cabs will see half power. No problem for the 412 cab but are we sure the 112 cab won't have its speaker blown? How big of an amp are you using and what speaker do you have in the 112 cab?

In case the sound guy is extra stupid, I can turn the cab around. But I may just go with the 1x12 and say the heck with it.
